Praise Him by His Old Testament Names:

Jehovah - Meaning: Self-existent One (from Exodus 3:14, “I Am That I Am”).  Characteristics. It is a name of relationship between the true God His people and, when used, emphasizes God’s holiness, hatred sin, and love of sinners.

Pray or Sing the words of song “El Shaddai”

Through your love and through the lamb

You saved the son of Abraham.

By the power of your hand

You turned the sea into dry land.

To the outcast on her knees

You became the God Who sees.

By your might

You set your people free.

El Shaddai, El Shaddai,

We will praise You til we die.

Through the years, you made it clear

That the time of Christ was near.

But your people couldn’t see

What the Messiah ought to be.

Though your word contained the plan

They just could not understand

That your most awesome work was done

Through the fraility of your Son.

El Shaddai, El Shaddai,

We will praise You til we die.
